Raquel Zimmermann.

style.com

Raquel Zimmermann is one of my favourite models ever.
She is Brazilian, blonde, beautiful, versatile and to top it off seems like a nice, articulate woman.
In her latest editorial for US Vogue, she not only looks like a total babe in a swimsuit, but shines the cover 'star' Blake Lively out of the water quite literally. Though i'm not entirely sure on Mr Schue being in the editorial, he does look hot(tish) here.
Raquel along with Lara Stone proves there are supermodel's in 2010, now if only Anna Wintour could stop putting C List celebrities on the cover (please do not let the K.Stew rumours be true) and gave Raquel a solo cover then the fashion world would be great again.
Raquel will be modelling for Gucci and Chloe for F/W 2010, showing those younger and older girls how it's done I hope.

Sick.

I am sick :(, I hate getting a cold.
Here are some of my favorite looks from F/W 10.11 so far, I particularly love the duffel coat at Margaret Howell, the shearling at Burberry and that Marc Jacobs dress.

Paris Fashion Week

wwd
Paris Fashion Week, my favourite of the four started today and Giles Deacon one of London's best designers showed his collection which included this adorable puffball bag. I think if Ginny Weasley's Pgymy Puff from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (yes Harry Potter geek here) was real this is what it would look like. As a stylish bag I can't say I really want this but as a pet yes! I also loved his Triceratops bags for spring summer, if someone had one when I was walking down the street it would make me so happy! Giles' collection included a sixties theme, Jessica Stam and Caroline Trentini, so no surprise it was gorgeous as always.
I cannot wait for Chanel, Alexander McQueen's last ever show, Isabel Marant, Miu Miu, Chloe and Phoebe Philo for Celine.
I considered possibly making a few outfit posts on this blog but I'm not entirely ready yet, the fact my hair looked unbrushed to the maximum today did not help, catching my reflection in the train window was not a happy moment.

Proenza Schouler Pre Fall 2010.

Proenza Schouler pre fall 2010 is perfect, the knits, the fur, those gorgeous trousers from the second picture, added to that perfect duffel coat, already define what I hope to be wearing when autumn appears.

ALEXA CHUNG FOR MADEWELL

images via wwd
Alexa Chung's penchant for peter pan collars, loafers, smock dresses and Chanel, have ensured I was a fan of hers since she appeared on Popworld back in 2006. So, unsuprisingly I was beyond excited to hear she was teaming up with the American brand Madewell to produce her own collection. The collection was shown at New York fashion week last Monday, and ever since then I have been dreaming of owning the Peter Pan Collar Dress (I could definately not afford the See by Chloe original), the velvet high waisted shorts and the grey sixties coat (based on a vintage one Alexa herself got from Harrod's boys department). Extra kudos to the fact the collection was inspired by sixties girlbands and Mallory Towers, plus you can never go wrong with grey woolly tights.

I obviously better start saving now.
